The nails that started it all!  Inspired by the now infamous “I just killed my boyfriend” scene from the Paparazzi video, where Gaga dons a pair of fabulous Linda Farrow Mickey-ear sunglasses and wears a Jeremy Scott yellow unitard covered in not-quite-Mickey Mouse heads.  Some of the “heads” on these are made out of black glass rhinestones, while the rest are just painted on.   (I didn’t have enough smaller stones to do all of the “ears”, so I left half of them plain.)  Even people who don’t get the Gaga reference love these!  I’ve also noticed over the years that, no matter what crazy colors you’re using, if you add a moon to your nails then it makes them more “believeable.”  For these, I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow (27) and Black Out (28)—but obviously any black and yellow will do! I did these for my Monster Ball show, and they were a hit.  (A girl actually showed up wearing the full Gaga outfit.  If she hadn’t been swamped posing for pictures, I would have shown them to her!  And, of course, complimented her amazing getup!) ox PolishedPawsUp.Tumblr.com
