So, I’m not a huge fan of squared-off nails.  They aren’t the easiest to manage, I feel kind of tacky when I wear them (said the girl with rhinestones glued to her fingers), and you probably won’t see them here too often.  But!  For some designs they just work better than anything else.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any on-set professional photos of Gaga in this particular outfit so the best way to see the details is by rewatching the scene.  (Which you can do here.)  Gaga’s draped in diamonds, in black underwear, with a large clear cross that hangs off her neck while diamonds fall all around her.  Naturally, I busted out the glitter for these ones!

I found the square rhinestones at Michael’s and a cross of the same size (4 down, 3 across) will also fit on smaller nails - I.E. it doesn’t necessarily have to be on your thumb to fit somewhere.  The one on my right hand is on my ring finger, for example.  I also decided to throw in a few smaller ones for good measure.
