EMAs Press Room: Gaga took home a bundle of awards at the 2011 Europe Music Awards, and made her appearance in the press room afterwards in a stunning metal work gown and full space makeup.  I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use one of those pesky shatter polishes that have become notorious for being something that everyone owns but nobody uses! Colors & Materials Used: Surely Ivory (Sally Hansen No Chip) base with Silver Shatter topcoat (Nicole by OPI). Accent Nail: Ocean View (Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear) base, Sweet P (Hard Candy) glitter topcoat—over a solid lime green base—for the “arched moon” (to simulate her eyebrows), with a clear glass rhinestone cross. The shatter topcoat couldn’t be more perfect for this look.  I’ve been hoping for a chance to use one for ages, and I’m very happy with how these turned out!  (And, for you non-Gaga fans, nude makes a great unexpected base coat under a shatter.
