‘Marry The Night’ Performance on The Ellen Degeneres Show: Gaga performed a ballet influenced rendition of Marry The Night on Ellen a couple weeks ago; looking much like a Gagaifed version of The Nutcracker while taking direct influence from scenes in the song’s namesake video. Colors & Materials Used: Wall Street pink (by New York Color) with clear glass rhinestones, and Commander In Chic taupe (by Sally Hansen Salon) accent nail. I instantly loved this performance and had to make a matching nail design for it.  Because the design is fairly simplistic, I wanted to include a funky shaped nail to bring in the ‘Gaga factor’.  I filed the accent nail into a clover-shaped tip to mimic her hair buns, and added rhinestone edges to the rest to match her jewel-covered eyebrows.  I ended up really loving this design and I received quite a few compliments on the clover-shaped nail!  Something about them just says ‘sugar plum fairy’ to me.  =) On a related note, I would like to wish a very happy holiday to each one of my wonderful followers!  I couldn’t keep this blog going without you guys, and I’m looking forward to a new year full of new nail inspiration from the Lady herself! ox PPU
