Let me begin this post by saying how excited I am for the next album—Born This Way!  With a whole new Gaga era comes a whole new bunch of manicures to match, so what better way to commemorate the upcoming 2011 release than to close out a chapter with her previous album covers. Hopefully a new camera is in order for me soon, but in the meantime you will have to take my word for it; these were far better in-person.  The Fame hand would sparkle with every movement and the “bloody tears” drip on the accent nail of The Fame Monster (modeled after the alternate album cover) was slightly raised and shiny—enough to resemble actual liquid.  The colors and materials used were quite simple.  Black, white, and grey (‘Kiss Me Here’ by Pure Ice) polishes along with clear and light blue glass rhinestones. It’s November already, so the Born This Way cover art and the first single are just around the corner!  (Last I heard they were talking about releasing the first single in December.  Obviously that’s subject to change, but it’s so close now!)  I will be painting my nails in anticipation! ox Polished Paws Up
