Opening of Gaga’s Workshop at Barney’s New York: Back in November, Gaga attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for her holiday collaboration with Barney’s New York stores: Gaga’s Workshop.  She made her appearance (looking much like a couture, Gaga-version of Mrs. Claus) in a billowing custom Chanel gown and dripping with Chanel accessories.  More images, including details of this look, can be seen here.
Colors & Materials Used: White base with half pearls and studs (found at Michael’s stores), black and silver free-handed “hem” lines, and tiny silver dots from a generic drug store nail sticker set.  The Chanel logo charm (ring finger) and post earring (thumb) are things I already had floating around in my jewelry box.  (No flash photo.)
I got a couple requests for a design based on this look, so I decided it would make a good New Years eve post, considering all the bling!  To still keep it ‘Gaga’ themed, instead of strictly ‘Chanel’, I did the filed tips on these (and added a glove for the photo).  I removed the earring and charm for regular wearability.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe new year!  Thank you all so much again for the love and support in 2011!  I hope I can continue to post new stuff throughout 2012, which will undoubtedly be full of new and amazing things on the Gaga front.  Happy New Year!
