“Prison for Bitches” Telephone Part Three: The entire link between the song and the video for Telephone rests on the idea of unwanted phone calls.  Gaga said in an interview that the video depicts her in prison, receiving many phone calls which she doesn’t take because she’s enjoying herself there.  Until, that is, she gets the bail out call she’s been waiting for. Colors & Materials Used: Surely Ivory (Sally Hansen Salon) base with Lightening yellow (Sally Hansen Insta-Dri) stripes, and black nail art pen.  Accent nail is black, white, and Surely Ivory.  All shapes were created using tape and laying. Initially, I started writing “CAUTION” on the yellow without even checking the screen caps, but I had to change it since Gaga’s caution tape outfit doesn’t actually say ‘caution’ anywhere.  It says “+ CRIME SCENE + DO NOT CROSS +” repeatedly (it’s also been suggested that the plus signs are full crosses that are distorted on the fabric folds.  That’s highly likely, but I left them more like plus signs for photo consistency’s sake.)  I’ll post the 4th and final design for Telephone next week!
